This spacious fire blocked interior accommodates up to sixteen passengers in a three-cabin configuration consisting of a forward four-place club with two additional forward-facing single seats, dual mid-cabin four-place divans, and an aft cabin left-hand two-place club opposite a credenza. Additionally, there is a jump seat, forward and aft lavatories, an aft galley, and an in-flight accessible aft baggage compartment.
The cabin single seats feature various degrees of swivel, tracking and recline, as well as electric lumbar support, berthing capability, and a pullout footrest. Both four-place divans can be berthed and have forward and end armrest storage cabinets.
The forward cabin features a pocket door between the aircraft entrance and cabin, two removable curtains provide mid-cabin privacy and allow for divided sleeping quarters, there is a stowing curtain between the aft cabin and aft galley, a hinged door separates the aft galley and lavatory, and a pocket door leads into the baggage compartment. There is also an entryway acoustical sliding door.
In addition to the cabin credenza storage, there are vestibule crew storage cabinets, cabin magazine racks, and two aft lavatory wardrobe/storage closets. Folding console tables are located at each pair of cabin club seats and at each forward cabin single seat. The credenza contains the main audio/video equipment, several 115VAC electric outlets are located throughout the cockpit, cabin and each lavatory, and the main cabin features electric window shades and LED lighting.
This G550’s cabin management system consists of multiple individual control panels, headset jacks, various master control panels, and an audio/video interface.
Entertainment equipment includes a stereo audio system, an upgraded forward left-hand bulkhead Rosen 20” LCD monitor, an upgraded credenza sidewall Rosen 17” LCD monitor, eight (8) sidewall Rosen 7” articulating monitors, two (2) dual-disc DVD players, a CD changer, and an RCA-style audio/video input panel. Airshow® 4000 and a SecuraPlane® external camera system with three cameras are also installed. The forward cabin’s right-hand forward-facing VIP seat and aft cabin left-hand forward-facing VIP seat each features an electric outlet, VIP passenger control unit, and a phone handset.
A Honeywell MCS-7000 Inmarsat Satcom and Aircell Axxess® II Iridium® Satcom both offer satellite voice calling via handsets located in the cockpit, forward cabin, aft cabin, and galley. A Honeywell HD-710 high speed data unit provides SwiftBroadband internet via satellite connection and the onboard Wi-Fi.
The cabin woodwork is finished in Carl Booth “Frape Mahogany” high gloss veneer, the cabin exposed metal is plated in “Satin Blush White Gold”, and “Phantom Grid” brown wool carpeting is installed throughout the entryway, main cabin, and aft lavatory. The aft galley features Lonseal “Sandstone” padded vinyl flooring. The cabin headliner and PSU panels are covered in “Milkweed” Ultraleather™, the window panels are finished in “Alabaster” fabric and the lower sidewall features “Bark” leather with “Platinum” fabric accents. The main cabin single seats and both lavatory seats are covered in “Alabaster” leather, and the divans are finished in “Essence” beige fabric. All counter top surfaces are finished in “Aurora” Corian®.
The aft galley and galley annex feature ample storage and functionality including a B.E. Aerospace high-temperature oven, Sharp microwave, dual TIA coffee makers, Dynamo cold storage unit with adjustable shelves, dual ice drawers, sink and faucet with hot and cold water, dedicated china, flatware and crystal storage, pop-out work surface, and a large trash container.
The forward lavatory consists of a vacuum toilet and integrated stowing wash basin and faucet with hot and cold water. The main passenger aft lavatory features a vacuum toilet opposite a mirrored vanity with sink and faucet with hot and cold water.
An in-flight accessible baggage compartment is located behind the aft lavatory.
Last touched-up by Gulfstream in January, 2010, the exterior features an overall color of “Matterhorn White” with stripe colors in “Blue”, “Red” and “Black”.
