This 17-passenger G550 features a 4-zone main cabin, forward and aft lavatories, and an aft in-flight accessible baggage compartment. Cabin seating consists of a forward cabin 4-place club, followed by a left-hand 2-place divan opposite a forward-facing single seat, then a left-hand 2-place club opposite a 4-place divan, and finally an aft cabin left-hand 4-place conference group opposite a credenza.
Each main cabin single seat features various adjustments, including berthing capability, and all forward-facing single seats have a pull-out footrest. The conference group double seats have various adjustments and drop-down inboard and center armrests, and the cabin divans feature berthing capability. The conference group can be configured for sleep using a variety of mattress options and by manually lowering the pedestal table to seat cushion height.
Closets and storage compartments are found throughout the interior. A forward cabin bulkhead with an electric pocket door divides the vestibule and forward cabin, the mid-cabin features removable bulkheads with curtains, the galley has a stowing curtain, and the aft lavatory features a hinged door. Stowing console tables are located at each cabin club seating section and at the right-hand single forward-facing seat, and the conference group features an adjustable pedestal table. The credenza contains a printer, multiple storage compartments, and the main audio/video source equipment. The cabin features electric window shades and a dual converter cabin power system with multiple 115V/60Hz outlets, including dual cockpit outlets.
The cabin management system consists of multiple cabin switch panels, including forward and aft cabin VIP panels. Entertainment equipment includes: a cabin speaker audio system, a Flight Display Systems wireless headset transmitter, a forward left-hand bulkhead 20” LCD monitor, a credenza 17” LCD monitor, seven (7) single seat armrest 8.4” Rosen LCD monitors, four (4) divan end cabinet plug-in monitor receptacles, two (2) dual DVD players, a CD player, and audio/video inputs. ATC Communications are available on the cabin audio system, and Airshow® 4000 and an external color camera system with four (4) cameras are provided for passenger and crew convenience.
Honeywell HD-710 Inmarsat and Aircell Axxess® II Iridium® satcom systems offer satellite voice calling. The HD-710, Airshow® 4000, and credenza printer are interfaced with the Aircell Axxess® II system, and Aircell corded handsets are located in the cockpit, cabin and galley. SwiftBroadband® satellite and Aircell Gogo Biz® 3G domestic broadband data are available via Wi-Fi.
The cabin soft goods, the cockpit-to-aft lavatory carpeting and galley flooring, and the airstair tread were refurbished by Gulfstream – Appleton in September 2016. The cabin woodwork is finished in “Birdseye Maple” gloss veneer, the exposed decorative hardware is plated in “Satin Brass”, and the galley and aft lavatory countertops are finished in “Kashmire Gold” granite. “Focus Maximus” 100% wool carpeting is installed from the vestibule through the cabin, and in the aft lavatory, and the galley features “Caspian Mist” Lonseal vinyl flooring. The cabin headliner and PSU panels are covered in “Pale Beige” Ultraleather™, the window panels are finished in “Harmony-Alto” fabric, and the lower sidewalls are covered in “Smoke” leather. The forward cabin single seats and the conference group seats are covered in “Silver Fox” wool/silk-blended fabric with “Smoke” leather arms, shrouds, and headrests. The mid-cabin single seats are finished in “Sea Mist” wool/silk-blended fabric with “Blue Fog” leather arms, shrouds, and headrests. The mid-cabin divans are finished in “Reid-Steel” fabric with “Blue Fog” leather arms.
The aft galley and galley annex feature thoughtful customizations that accommodate flights both with and without a flight attendant. For instance, there are two large closets with sliding drawers featuring ample catering/snack storage, as well as perforated drawers for cold/wet items and dirty dishes. Additionally, this highly-equipped galley features a high temperature oven, a microwave, dual coffee makers, a hot cup, gasper-cooled soda can storage, a thermo-electric cooled food storage unit, dual divided ice drawers, two pullout work surfaces, a sink and faucet with hot and cold water, a Corian® trash bin retainer, dedicated wine bottle, china, cutlery and crystal storage, and various miscellaneous storage. The smaller pullout work surface is directly above the trash bin and features a cutting surface with a trap door for easy clean-up.
The forward lavatory features a vacuum toilet and a fold-down sink with faucet, and the aft lavatory has a vacuum toilet opposite a mirrored vanity with sink and faucet, and miscellaneous storage.
An in-flight accessible baggage compartment is located behind the aft lavatory.
Last repainted in September 2018 by Gulfstream – Appleton, the exterior is painted in overall “Matterhorn White” with “Steel Blue II Pearl”, “Las Vegas Gold III Pearl”, and various shades of gray stripes.
